India defeated Australia by 31 runs in the first Test of the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Adelaide Oval to mark their win in Australia after 10 years. Cheteshwar Pujara played a fantastic knock of 123 runs in the first innings and compiled 70 in the second innings to be awarded the player of the match.
