Colin de Grandhomme has not done enough as an all-rounder

New Zealand has produced some brilliant all-rounders over the years. Richard Hadlee, Chris Cairns, Chris Harris, James Franklin, Scott Styris, and Jacob Oram are some of the best Kiwi all-rounders who have played the game.

James Neesham's poor form gave the opportunity for Colin de Grandhomme in the New Zealand side. The 31-year-old burst onto the international scenes with a lot of hype because of his abilities to hit the ball a long distance and swing the ball. However, his performances were really mediocre.

Though he played some flashy innings, consistency was always missing and his bowling performances were really poor. With the World Cup just 12 months away, New Zealand has to find a solution to their all-rounder problem really quick.
