#2. Thisara Perera

Lower order batting has been one of Sri Lanka's problem over the years in the limited-overs cricket as they struggled to produce a quality all-rounder.
The names of Tillakaratne Dilshan, Sanath Jayasuriya, Aravinda De Silva, and Angelo Mathews comes to our mind when we talk about the greatest Sri Lankan all-rounders of all-time.
Though Thisara Perera has played 133 One Day Internationals and 73 Twenty20 for Sri Lanka, he was nowhere close to any of the above superstars. ODI batting average of 18 is a testament to his abilities with the bat. Also, he is not exceptional with the ball.
It is really surprising to see him get so many chances in the Sri Lanka team. He is definitely one of those overrated players in cricket at the moment and Sri Lanka needs to resolve the issue quickly.
