#4 Mohammad Amir
The feisty fast bowler from Pakistan made a comeback to international cricket this year after having a terrible time in the last few years due to spot-fixing scandal. He returned bigger and better and his pace and swing are still intact. There could not have been a better aid to the Pakistan team and the result is that they are sitting pretty on top of the Test rankings.
The left-hander troubled one and all with his fast swinging deliveries in the Asia Cup T20 and then later in the World T20. His best bowling figures of 18/3 in the format came against India in the Asia Cup where he made the strong batting line-up of India sweat in chasing a total of mere 84.

A lot was expected of him to exploit the swing-friendly conditions when Pakistan travelled to England. He did turn up with decent performances and bagged 12 wickets in the series as Pakistan put up a spirited performance to draw a 4 match series 2-2.
He has also picked up 10 wickets in the 7 ODIs he played so far which takes his wickets tally to a total of 33 across all formats.
