#3 Swapnil Asnodkar
Swapnil Asnodkar or the 'Goa Cannon', as defined by former Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Warne, came into the limelight after his tremendous performances in the inaugural edition of the league. Asnodkar opened the innings along with Graeme Smith. The opening batsman scored 311 runs in 9 innings at an impressive average of 34.55 with a strike rate of 133.47.
Despite his form, in the IPL he failed to earn a national call-up. During his stint with the Rajasthan Royals, he received constant backing from his Captain Warne. The aggressive batsman was one of the main reasons for the success of his franchise. He added 418 runs for the opening wicket with experienced campaigner Smith.
In the seasons thereafter he received no bids due to his form in domestic cricket. Asnodkar failed to attract the franchises. He currently represents Goa in domestic cricket and scored a ton in the Vijay Hazare Trophy recently.
