#2 Shoaib Malik
Shoaib Malik has been a mainstay of Pakistan’s middle order for a long time with a calm and composed head on his shoulders. With close to 7000 runs in One Day Internationals at an average of 35.48, he has proved to be an integral part of the Pakistan setup.
However, the average shoots up to 48.50 against India as he has racked up runs at a fair clip against the Asian cricketing giant. In the 38 games against India, Malik has scored 10 fifties and four hundreds with a top score of 143 off 127 balls in Colombo.
In 2009, with a knock of 128 runs in 126 balls at Centurion, he guided Pakistan to a rare ICC tournament victory against India. Even at 35, he still has plenty to offer with his skills with the willow.
