3. 2000 runs at the No. 4 position
The No. 4 position is a highly important one in any Test batting line-up. However, it has assumed greater importance in India ever since a certain Sachin Tendulkar made the position his own. The master batsman scored nearly 14,000 runs and hit 44 out of his 51 centuries while batting at the fourth spot.
Virat Kohli has been entrusted with the task of holding the fort at No. 4 for India ever since Tendulkar retired and he has done a great job so far. The Delhi lad has already scored 1773 runs in 37 innings at an average of 50.65 with 8 centuries whenever he comes in at the fall of the 2nd wicket.
Considering the kind of start Kohli has made in the ongoing series, he could end up with 2000 runs at the fourth position by the time the series gets over.
