#4 Varun Aaron
With his electrifying pace, Varun Aaron was once considered India's next big thing in terms of pace bowling. Then came the arrival of the likes of Bumrah and Siraj, as Aaron found himself glued to the history books. In the Investec Test series of 2014, he was called up as a backup to the pace trio of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, and Mohammed Shami.
With his leading pacers not delivering, Dhoni included Aaron in the team for the penultimate Test. Though he picked up three wickets including that of English skipper Alastair Cook, it wasn't enough to save the match. The Jharkhand lad then had a rather disappointing outing in the last match, where he picked up just a couple of wickets by conceding 153 runs.
Aaron could not find himself an IPL team as well and is tried his luck in English county cricket, but given the plethora of rising pacers, national team selection might as well be as good as over for him.
