His ability to swing the ball both ways compensates for his mediocre speed, and he has a sharp cricketing brain which always goes a long way. He dismissed Chris Gayle in the group fixture India played against the West Indies, and he will be assigned the same role once again. It will be interesting to see if he can get the same amount of assistance in the Caribbean.
