4. Sourav Ganguly
If there is one criticism that is often leveled at Sourav Ganguly, it is that he didn't deliver as well in the longest format of the game, despite all of his achievements as a captain and as a destructive batsman in the limited-overs. In ODIs however, he was one of the best openers to have ever played for India.
With the ability to bowl some handy medium pace as well, he served as a useful option with the ball as well. While he wasn't especially quick or have all the tricks that bowlers have these days, he still finished with 100 ODI wickets and that combined with his tally of over 11,000 runs helps him take his place on this list.
When Ganguly called time on his ODI career, he had played 311 matches and had scored 11,363 runs at an average of 41 and taken 100 wickets as well. Despite playing the fewest ODI matches of anyone on this list, he makes the cut.
