Pujara's long vigil at the crease will be key
The hunt for the next Rahul Dravid for the Indian team had ended when Pujara came into the side. Though the right-hander takes time to acclimatize to conditions, he is unstoppable and remains immovable at the crease when he gets going. This was evident when India toured England earlier and after a string of low scores, the Saurashtra batsman went on to score a century in the fourth Test of the tour.

Pujara is expected to walk out to bat at No. 3. Having scored close to 5,000 runs, Pujara has amassed 15 centuries in only 64 Tests. The Australian bowlers may find it tough and run into yet another “Wall” in the four-match series.
Pujara averaged a decent 33 on his last tour of Australia, however, could end up posing the biggest headache for Australia, having had the experience of county cricket with him too.

A former Tata Consultancy Services employee, Aayushman has been supporting the Australian men's national team after being impressed with their aggressive and never-say-die attitude in the 2003 ICC World Cup. His favorite cricketer is Steve Smith, whose tremendous self-belief in his methods, despite them being unorthodox, inspire him a lot. Smith’s performances from 2019 Ashes Series only fueled this inspiration further. He would like to revisit the 2015 ICC World Cup semi-final clash between India and Australia if ever got hold of a time machine.
When not working, Aayushman loves to spend his spare time reading fiction books and watching one of his favorite television shows Grey's Anatomy.
