If there is one batsman from India who can better the record for the T20I highest score, then it has to be Rohit Sharma. After being promoted to open the batting, the stylish right-hander has looked a completely different batsman.

Rohit has scored three double centuries in ODI format and also holds the record for the highest score of 264 in ODIs. He initially takes time to settle but when he is set even the best bowlers have struggled to bowl against him.

The Mumbai batsman is one of the few players in the list to have scored two T20I centuries. The second hundred against Sri Lanka was the joint fastest century off just 35 balls. He scored 118 runs off just 43 balls which included twelve boundaries and ten sixes.

With Rohit’s ability to clear boundaries at will and his knack of scoring big scores, he could break this record and also score a double century in T20I match.
