#4 Krunal Pandya
With Hardik Pandya out of contention due to a injury he picked up in the Asia Cup, a lot of people expected his elder brother Krunal Pandya to make the squad. However, it was not to be as the selectors did not pick him in the squad for the final three ODIs.
He has been knocking on the doors of Indian cricket for a long time now and has consistently been performing well with the bat and the ball. He has been one of the top performers in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians over the past two years or so.
In addition to that, he has been performing well for Baroda in the domestic circuit too. He scored three half-centuries in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy and picked up lots of wickets as well, including a six-wicket haul against Goa.
