Apart from Shaw, Shubman Gill is another youngster from the World Cup winning Under-19 team who has made a name for himself.

However, unlike Shaw, Gill has not got a chance to make his debut for the Indian cricket team yet. He has consistently been performing well in the domestic circuit for Punjab and has taken them to numerous victories batting at different positions in the batting order.

Gill was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad in the Indian Premier League this year. While he did not get many chances, he did make a mark for himself with a few noteworthy performances.

He was phenomenal in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he scored three half-centuries and a century.

He is currently playing for India C in the Deodhar Trophy. His side suffered a loss in their first encounter playing against India B.
