Australian batsman Aiden Blizzard came out to play with a green bat in the 2015/16 edition of the BBL. Playing for Sydney Thunder, he used the coloured bat, which was manufactured by Indian manufacturer Spartan.
Spartan had earlier provided Chris Gayle with the golden bat in the same edition of the league, and it looked like they are trying to set a batting trend.
Playing against Sydney Sixers at the Sydney Cricket Ground, his inning lasted 17 balls in which he could not do much scoring as he got just 20 runs before being dismissed by Sean Abbott.
His brief innings included a six and a four. He was spotted with the same coloured bat in the season opener of the ongoing edition of the T20 tournament.
