Shimron Hetymer is a left-handed batsman who played for Guyana Amazon Warriors. Hetmyer was the third highest run scorer in the CPL, scoring 440 runs at an average of 40 and with a strike rate of 148.14. Hetmyer was the backbone of Guyana Amazon Warriors throughout the CPL.

He is fearless and has a solid technique which allowed him to score freely, and scored a wonderful hundred in just 49 balls against Jamaica Tallawahs. He hit 24 sixes in the tournament.
