Vinay Kumar has become a household name. He has won the IPL and impressive three times in his career.

Kumar was part of KKR’s bowling attack in the 2014 season. Despite the presence of Morne Morkel, Jacques Kallis, and Umesh Yadav, Vinay Kumar not only played in 9 games but also picked up 7 wickets.

The medium pacer won his first ever IPL title when KKR beat KXIP in the finals of 2014.

Mumbai Indians acquired Vinay Kumar from KKR during the trading window, before the start of the 2015 season. He had to fight for his place yet again with the names like Malinga and Mitchell McClenaghan ahead of him. He still managed to play in 13 games during the season, picking up 7 wickets.

Kumar was part of both Q1 and the final against CSK. He picked up two wickets in the first qualifier and the big wicket of Faf du Plessis in the final. It was Kumar’s second consecutive title!
