#2 Virat Kohli saving up his tons for the knockouts
How often have you seen Virat Kohli not convert a string of 50+ scores into hundreds? Very rarely, right? If he gets a start, it is almost a given that Kohli would go on to get a big score.
He struck five successive fifties in this tournament with scores of 18, 82, 77, 67, 72, 66, 26 and 34 in the eight games. For any other batsman, this would’ve been a brilliant graphic, but for Kohli, it’s not.
Along with being the heart of Indian batting line-up, Virat Kohli has also led the Indian Cricket team from the front and has taken some exemplary decisions during the matches. Every time the skipper walks out to bat, you can sense a glorious captain’s innings is around the corner.
We hope to see that in the semi-final today when our captain will knock a blazing hundred to win against the Kiwis.
