Yuvraj’s performances guided India to the World Cup

Yuvraj has always been the man for big occasions. The team has always counted on him in big ICC tournaments and he has always delivered. He was India’s man of the tournament in the 2007 World T20.

He was the player of the tournament in the 2011 ODI World Cup as well.

There is something about these big ICC tournaments which gets Yuvraj going. We always get to see a different side of him during these tournaments.

The same can be said about Dhoni but not about his batting. While he has guided the team to the trophy with his superb captaincy skills, he has not performed too well with the bat. Perhaps the pressure of captaincy was too much and Yuvraj knew that and took all the pressure off Dhoni by consistently performing well.
