Martin Guptill is the highest run scorer in T20 cricket sitting at the top with 2271 runs. Virat Kohli is 4th on the list with 2102 runs to his name. Given that India will play six T20 Internationals against West Indies and Australia in November, 169 runs don’t seem to be too far for Kohli.

Guptill will also have a chance to extend the lead as New Zealand will play 3 T20s against Pakistan in October-November. But only a few will disagree that Kohli cannot have this record on his name come to the end of 2018.
