In his whirlwind knock of 128 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Delhi, Pant hit a total of 22 boundaries which included 15 fours and 7 sixes. He hit 102 runs in boundaries which means 79.68% of his runs came in boundaries.

After hitting 15 fours, he climbed to the top of the list of hitting the most number of fours in an IPL inning this year. Shikhar Dhawan hit 13 fours against Rajasthan Royals and is placed 2nd on the list. AB de Villiers who hit 12 fours against Sunrisers Hyderabad is 3rd on the list.
