#3 Parthiv Patel (CSK - 2008-2010, RCB - 2014, 2018-Present)
Parthiv Patel is one of the most underrated IPL players of all time. Patel started his IPL career as a back-up wicket-keeper for CSK. Despite MS Dhoni's presence in the side, Patel was regularly played as a specialist batsman and was given the important task of opening the innings.
After spending three years with the Super Kings, he was released by the franchise in 2011. The diminutive opener then played for Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad for a year each before turning up for RCB for the first time in 2014. Following a mediocre season, the wicket-keeper was dropped by RCB next year. However, Mumbai Indians snapped the southpaw at the 2015 auction.
Patel played some impactful knocks for the team and was a crucial part of the squad that won the title in 2015 and 2017. This made his stock rise again and RCB snapped him up in 2018, and his second stint with the team has been quite productive.
