Stoinis bowled a spell of 4/15, the fourth best this year, against Mumbai Indians at Visakhapatnam wrecking their middle order and giving KXIP a win with his Man of the Match performance.

Overall, the Australian has picked up 8 wickets in 7 matches at an economy of 8.43 and an average of 24.25. He has also contributed lower down the order, scoring 146 runs in 5 innings at 36.5 with a strike-rate of 135 and a half-century. Stoinis’ impact comes on the back of a mediocre season for KXIP’s foreign players including David Miller and Shaun Marsh.
