#4 699/5 by Pakistan at Lahore, 1989

In perhaps one of the most mind-numbing boring Test matches ever played between the two arch-rivals, the hosts, Pakistan managed to score one of the highest scores ever against India in Test cricket.
Neither team had registered a win when the teams headed to Lahore for the third Test and on a batting beauty, India's batting was good. Batting first, they made 509, thanks to a career-best 218 from Sanjay Manjrekar. However, Pakistan were equal to the task and responded in kind.
Everybody in their batting line-up got runs. Opener Aamer Malik scored 113, while his partner Rameez Raja made 63. Saleem Malik at number 3 made 55 but could not kick on to score a big one. Pakistan's legendary batsman Javed Miandad made 145 and Shoaib Mohammad top-scored for the hosts with an unbeaten 203.
It was a run-fest of epic proportions and Pakistan only lost 5 wickets when the game was finally called off as a draw with the scoreboard reading 699 for 5.
