Sri Lanka has the second highest total in the history of One Day International matches. They scored 443 runs against Netherland in the year 2009 thanks to Sanath Jayasuriya's 157. While chasing the huge total, Netherland bundled out for 248 runs and lost the game with a huge margin of 195 runs.

Their second score of 400 plus came against India while chasing the target of 418. Virender Sehwag's 146 helped his team to post a massive total on the board.
