Michael Clarke, the former Australian captain is undoubtedly a match winner with the bat. Though he pulled off an unexpected win with his bowling skills at the SCG in the 2009 New Year's Test. It was the fourth innings of the match and India were set a target of 333.

After a lot of poor decisions from the umpires in favor of the Aussies, India were looking good for a draw with Anil Kumble blocking the cherry solidly. It was the last 20 minutes of the Test Match and Ricky Ponting pulled the rabbit out of the hat as he turned to Michael Clarke and the rest is history.

He removed Harbhajan Singh and RP Singh off consecutive deliveries and almost had his hat-trick, if the ball was not going down leg. However, he managed to get one ball to turn sharply, nick Ishant Sharma's blade and rest in Hussey's hands. Australia completed a historic Test Match win and it was also their 16th win on the trot.
