Hanuma Vihari was once a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad set-up, but soon he found himself fading into oblivion.

Though he was selected for the tri-series, he was just a mere spectator for the first two games. He got a chance against Windies A, and just like a perfect opportunist, grabbed it with both hands.

He played an astonishing knock of 69 runs from just 63 balls which made it hard for coach Dravid to drop him.

He nailed his place in the side by scoring a splendid 147 off 131 deliveries in his second game, and played a crucial knock of 37 runs in the final, thereby becoming India's second highest scorer in the series.
