Mohd Siraj has improved by leaps and bounds in the last year or so. The speedster from Hyderabad shot into prominence after a terrific performance in the Ranji Trophy and then in the IPL. Siraj was fast-tracked into the T20 side but unfortunately, he wasn't able to perform as per expectations. However, Siraj kept fighting and has been in red-hot form playing for India A. After impressing everyone with his pace in England, Siraj single-handedly annihilated South Africa A by taking ten-for in the first unofficial Test.

Even though Siraj has been guilty of being expensive in limited-overs cricket, the selectors should consider Siraj for the ODIs as he provides a wicket-taking option to the side.
