The young boy, showed immense batting abilities on his Test debut when he scored 98 against England in the first Test of the Ashes 2013 in Trent bridge. Doing so, he broke many records and notably owns the record for scoring the most number of runs as a number 11 batsman on his debut.
Ashton Agar's 98 is also the highest by a No. 11 batsman in Test history. The slow left-arm orthodox spinner made the headlines for his batting abilities which helped Australia post a total of 280, He also shared a record last-wicket partnership of 163 runs with Phil Hughes who scored 81.
