Mayank Markande set the IPL alight with his glorious debut against CSK by picking up 3 wickets for 23 runs including the big fish MS Dhoni. The 20-year old later went on to hold the purple cap on multiple occasions. His stellar performances in Syed Ali Mushtaq trophy caught the eyes of the Mumbai Indians owners and they bought him for an amount of 20 lakhs and he has repaid the owner’s faith.
