In the Lord’s Test, nearly all the Indian batsmen, except Ashwin, failed in both the innings. More than their dismissals, it was their manner of dismissal, showing lack of technique and application, that stood out. The concurrent awful form of all the Indian batsmen, except Kohli, was the main reason for India's defeat at Lord's.
