In the third match of the triangular series in 2014, Zimbabwe's decision to field was looking like the wrong call as Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla were scoring for fun. But that was before Prosper Utseya came on to bowl for his second spell.

With the score at 142/0 after 24 overs, Utseya came in and first dismissed Amla for 66. Then de Kock followed in the next over as steered his shot to the fielder at short third-man who took an excellent catch. Rilee Rossouw and David Miller soon followed him to give Utseya his hat-trick and become only the second Zimbabwean bowler to get a hat-trick.

Although he finished with a five-wicket haul and restricted the Proteas to 231, when they looked set for a score well in excess of 300, Zimbabwe's batsmen couldn't chase it down. They eventually lost the game by 61 runs and Utseya had to accept defeat despite claiming the Man of the Match award.
