The backbone of Pakistan’s bowling since 2017,Ali took his first five-wicket haul in ODIs against Australia on 22 January 2017 and hasn’t looked back since. He currently has the best ODI bowling average among Pakistani fast bowlers who’ve played more than 20 matches.

He’s been an explosive bowler and wicket taker who has lethal deliveries in his arsenal. With almost all the variations that a fast bowler can have, Hasan Ali has been the top wicket-taker for Pakistan on multiple occasions. He was one of the main reasons for their success in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

At age 24, Ali is destined for great things. If he continues his past performances in the Asia Cup matches, there is no doubt that winning will be easier for the Men in Green.
