AB de Villiers completes 7000 runs in Test cricket

Playing his 91st Test match, South African batsman AB de Villiers reached the 7000-run landmark in Tests.

The 30-year-old came into the second Test match against Australia at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth, just 34 runs short of achieving the feat. The wicketkeeper-batsman is the fourth South African to reach the milestone, with Jacques Kallis (13206 Runs), Graeme Smith (9222 Runs) and Gary Kirsten (7289 Runs) having done it before.
