Video: AB de Villiers edges to slip, Aleem Dar gives it not out

During the 3rd match in the ODI series between India and South Africa at Belfast in 2007, AB de Villiers did not walk despite edging the ball to slip. The South African batsmen edged a Zaheer Khan delivery straight to Sachin Tendulkar, who took the catch with ease standing at first slip.

The Indian players started celebrating as they thought it was a very obvious dismissal, but there was drama as de Villiers didn’t walk and umpire Aleem Dar didn’t acknowledge the dismissal.

Despite being taken aback by the incident, the Indian team went on win the match by 6 wickets, and took home the series 2-1.
