#1 149 off 44 deliveries against Windies at Johannesburg in 2015

AB de Villiers destroyed the bowling line-up of Jason Holder-led West Indies side during the West Indies tour of South Africa in early 2015. On January 18, 2015, de Villiers registered a fastest ODI century off just 31 balls in the second match at Johannesburg.
AB De Villiers surpassed New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson's 36-ball ODI century against the same opposition in 2014 at Queenstown. Batting first, South Africa posted a mammoth total of 439 in 50 overs with the help of Hashim Amla's 153 off 142, Rilee Rossouw's 128 off 115 and AB de Villiers' 149 off 49 deliveries.
West Indies, in reply, managed to score 291 runs in 50 overs and lost the game by 148 runs. De Villiers was adjudged the Player of the Match award after scoring fastest century in the ODI history.
