MS Dhoni is India's most successful Test Captain

MS Dhoni would be the first choice wicket-keeper of any team, irrespective of format. Though not widely acclaimed for his Test technique, Dhoni has exhibited his skills as a Test batsman time and again.

The veteran has the most Test runs and dismissals by an Indian wicket-keeper. His feedback and constant encouragement from behind the stumps serve as a motivation during long partnerships. He is the only Indian wicket-keeper to score a double century.

MSD has been the best Test skipper for India, winning 27 out of the 60 matches he captained. He led India on top of ICC Rankings for the first time in 2009, and had a record-breaking unbeaten stint in his first 11 matches as captain. He also led India to famous win at Lord's in 2014, after 28 years.
