8. Andre Russell

Muscular, agile and an extremely fit athlete, Russell, the 28-year-old Jamaican is at the peak of his all-round exploits in a format he so cherishes. One of the mainstays of Kolkata's batting unit, Russell also happens to be KKR's opening bowler in an inning.

And clocking up close to 150 K/hr in a recent game against the Mumbai Indians, Andre 'the giant' has announced his intentions to dominate.

Hitting hefty blows at will and flat sixes, Russell also happens to be an excellent bowler of the yorker and is a very handy cricketer that his fellow performers in the IPL look up to. Having started his career around 2011, Russell has miles to go with age and form in hand.

From 24 innings, the six hitting right-hander has accumulated 539 runs, at an average of 24, scoring 3 fifties, with a highest score of 66. Russell the bowler has collected 29 wickets with best figures of 4/20.
