#3. Chris Gayle, West Indies
98 sixes
The destructive West Indian opener is one of the few batsmen, who, when on song, makes Tests and T20s look-alike with his six-hitting prowess.
Best suited for limited overs cricket, mainly T20s, Gayle has some record to cherish about in Tests too. He has hit the first ball of the inning for six in Tests. He achieved this feat against Bangladesh in 2012.
He is the only active cricketer to feature in this list. He ranks 3rd in the all-time list with 98 sixes to his name.
Although the left-hander has played his last Test in the year 2014, he has not announced his retirement from the format yet.
Given the kind of batsman Gayle is, he might well break the world record of most sixes in Test Career if he plays a minimum of 5 Tests before retiring.
