#3 Paul Collingwood
One of the finest fielders of all-time, Paul Collingwood is not only one of England’s best cricketers days but unarguably, their most successful T20 captain ever, having captained England in more T20Is than any other player.
Collingwood played 35 T20 internationals for England, scoring 583 runs at an average of 18.80 and a strike rate of 127.01, striking three 50s with 79 being his highest T20I score.
Out of the 35 T20Is that he played, Collingwood captained England in 30 of those, winning 17 of those and losing 11, with two matches being abandoned. The current Durham skipper led England to their finest cricketing hour by leading them to victory at the 2010 ICC World T20.
Collingwood was disappointing with the bat but was brilliant on the field throughout the competition, taking four catches.
Upon England’s return from the tournament, his captaincy was highly praised but a year later, he was replaced by Stuart Broad.
