The former England cricketer is largely regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders of all time. Botham was a genuine match-winner for England with both bat and ball in Tests as well as ODIs.

Botham was a true gentleman with a real insight into the game. He was one of the most prominent personalities to have ever played the game of cricket.

During a 15-year career of Test cricket, he scalped 383 wickets at an average of 28.40 in 102 matches and also scored 5,200 runs at an average of 33.54. Botham also represented England in 116 ODIs, scoring 2,113 runs and taking 145 wickets at an average of 28.54.
