#6 Dinesh Karthik

When Dinesh Karthik made his International debut in 2004, he was considered as the one for the future. The wicket-keeper batsman impressed everyone with his wicket-keeping skills and was also solid with the bat. Unfortunately, he lacked consistency and was in and out of the ODI side.
Karthik was selected in India's squad for World Cup 2007 but did not get a game because of India's early exit from the tournament.
However, Karthik can still fulfill his dream of playing for the country in the World Cup as he is in line for a place in the squad for the 2019 World Cup that will be held in England.
#7 Irfan Pathan

Irfan Pathan is one of those few unfortunate cricketers who despite having played more than 100 ODI matches haven't played in a World Cup match. After a promising start to his career, Irfan faded away slowly as he lost the swing and control from his bowling.
He did make a number of comebacks in the national side and had reasonable success too. However, he couldn't cement a place in the Indian side. Like Karthik, Pathan too made it to India's 2007 World Cup squad but wasn't picked in the playing XI. The all-rounder has 173 wickets in 120 matches to his name.
