Rajasthan Royals player Ankeet Chavan who was allegedly involved in the IPL spot-fixing case, has been released on bail for his wedding.
Chavan has been granted conditional bail till June 6th by a Delhi court. The wedding is fixed for June 2nd and according to reports, all the preparations for the marriage are done.
Chavan however, has said that he has been falsely dragged in to the case and has pleaded that he is not guilty. Chavan was arrested on May 16th along with Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila on charges of spot-fixing in IPL 6. The arrest took place immediately after the trio returned to their team hotel, after a match against the Mumbai Indians.
