Ashutosh Sharma is a professional Indian cricket batsman who plays domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on September 15, 1998, in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh (MP). Domestically, he plays for Railways, having started his career with Madhya Pradesh in January 2018. He played his first List-A game for MP in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019-20 season. He also broke Yuvraj Singh’s record of scoring the fastest fifty in T20 cricket. He scored an 11-ball fifty in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in October 2023.
Ashutosh Sharma has also featured in the IPL. He started his IPL career with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 2024 season. As of April 2025, he is representing Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 2025 edition. He played his first IPL game for PBKS against Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 04, 2024, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
