India has been blessed with a quiver full of fast bowlers recently, making it one of the most envious attacks in the world. Another pacer set to join the ranks is the 20-year-old left-armer Khaleel Ahmed, who has been named in the 16-member squad for the 2018 Asia Cup.
Here is all you need to know about the newest entrant to India's ODI setup:
# Khaleel was born in Tonk, a small town in Rajasthan 100 kilometres away from Jaipur.

# Having played under the coaching of Rahul Dravid in the U-19 setup, Khaleel's association with the Indian legend was extended when he was acquired by the Delhi Daredevils for Rs. 10 lakh in the 2016 auctions.
# He made his debut for Rajasthan in T20s in February 2017, and his first-class debut in October the same year. His List A debut came in February this year.
# In January this year, he was bought for a whopping Rs. 3 crore on the first day of the 2018 IPL auctions, purchased by the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
# Khaleel has openly admitted that Zaheer Khan has been a big influence on him, especially during his stint at the Delhi Daredevils, helping him sort technical issues and
# He was hitting top speeds in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy earlier this year, clocking as high as 148 kmph in one of the games.
# Khaleel was the fourth-highest wicket-taker across all teams in the recently concluded Quadrangular series in Bengaluru, picking up seven wickets from four games.
