The schedule for the Asia Cup to be held in Bangladesh from 25th February to 8th March was unveiled by the Asian Cricket Council on Thursday.
The matches will be held at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah and the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Defending Asia Cup champions Pakistan will kick-start their Asia Cup campaign when they take on Sri Lanka in the tournament opener at Fatullah on February 25th. Hosts Bangladesh will play their opening game against India at the same venue on the following day.
India will play 2 of their 4 league games at Fatullah and the other too at Mirpur. The current World Cup holders will play Sri Lanka on 28th February in Fatullah before moving to Mirpur to take on arch-rivals Pakistan on March 2nd. India will round off their league campaign when they play newcomers Afghanistan on March 5th.
The final will be played at Mirpur on March 8th.
All the fixtures will be day-night affairs with the matches starting at 14:00 hours local time.
