Assam team announced for upcoming Ranji season

Selectors of Assam Cricket Association yesterday declared the squad for the upcoming Ranji match against Kerela. This will be the first match for Assam and the match will be played at newly built Barsapara Stadium situated in outskirts of Guwahati from October 28 to October 31. This will be the first first class match to be played on Assam Cricket Association’s own stadium.

Assam retained the service of one of the best batsman of the domestic circuit Dheeraj Jadhav. Assam also recruited the outstation professional Neeraj Patel and J. Syed Mohammed. Pacer Abu Nechim Ahmed will be the captain of the team.

Subhrajeet Saikia and Subhadeep Ghosh are the coach of the team and MN Saikia will be the manager of the team.

Assam Cricket Association also declared the U-25 squad for the upcoming Col. C K Nayadu trophy match against Haryana. Amit Sinha will be the captain of the team.
