Assam Women’s T20 Cup 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings and live-streaming details

The Assam Women’s T20 Cup 2024 is hosted by the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) and is about to commence on Tuesday, July 23. This is the first such instance of the Assam Cricket Association hosting a league for women to showcase their talent on board.

With 33 games to be played this season, 20 of them will be league stage matches, 12 super four games, and the top 2 teams of the super four will qualify for the finals scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 8.

A total of five teams will participate in this tournament, namely Gauhati Town Club Women, New Star Club Women, 91 Yards Club Women, NFRSA Women, and Corner Kick.

Uma Chetry is also set to play in the tournament and was signed by the Gauhati Town Club Women's franchise. Uma finished her national duties playing against South Africa in the recently concluded series. She represented India in the last two T20I games but eventually couldn't bat as one of those matches was washed out due to rain, and the other ended in a winning cause with 10 wickets in hand.

The New Star Club Women will take on Gauhati Town Club Women to kick off the campaign on July 23. The Judges Field, Guwahati, is set to host all 33 games of the season.
