Australia A Women vs India A Women T20 Series 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings and live-streaming details

India A Women are all set to tour Australia for a multi-format series, starting from Wednesday, August 7. The multi-format series comprises three T20s, three One-Day games and a four-day game. The tour will get over on August 25.

The tour kicks off with a T20 series. Allan Border Field in Brisbane will be hosting all three games of the T20 series. Three T20s will be played on August 7, 9 and 11. The action will shift to Mackay for the three-match One-Day series which will be played from August 14 to 18.

The final game of the multi-format series will be a four-day game. It will be played at the Gold Coast District Cricket Club in the Gold Coast. Expect a cracking series between Australia A Women and India A Women.

Tahlia McGrath will be leading Australia A Women in the T20 series. McGrath has plenty of experience at the highest level and will play a crucial role for the hosts. Charli Knott will be McGrath’s deputy who is coming off a stint in the Women’s Hundred 2024 for the Southern Brave Women.

Australia A Women have a well-balanced squad. The likes of Maitlan Brown, Sophie Day, Nicole Faltum, Tess Flintoff and Tayla Vlaeminck are the consistent performers in the domestic circuit and will be looking to step up in the series against India A Women.

India A Women, on the other hand, will be led by Minnu Mani. Mani has represented India in four T20Is. The 25-year-old represents Kerala in the domestic circuit and will be looking to lead by example in the tour to Australia.

Shweta Sehrawat has been named as the vice-captain of the India A Women. Shubha Satheesh, Sajana Sajeevan, Kiran Navgire, Priya Punia will play a key role with the bat for the visitors along with Sehrawat whereas Mani, Saika Ishaque, Tanuja Kanwar and Meghna Singh will be leading the bowling department.

The first T20 will be played at Allan Border Field in Brisbane on August 7. Both sides will be looking to bring out their A-game on Wednesday and start the multi-format series on a winning note.
