After scoring back-to-back hundreds in Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia's in-form man Aaron Finch hit a half-century in Sydney to give the hosts a bright start.

The 31-year-old scored 62 off 53 balls before being trapped in front of the wickets by Adil Rashid.

Finch, who constantly fights for his place in Australia's playing XI, is the highest-run getter of the five-match ODI series so far, with scores of 107, 106 and 62 in the first three games.

Since the start of the ongoing series, Finch became the joint fourth-fastest Australian to score 3,000 ODI runs and the sixth from his country to ever score 10 centuries in the 50-over format.
